Lyndsay Dru Corbett has always loved being in the spotlight and she still gets a thrill every time she puts on her dance shoes.  Since those first ballet classes over 23 years ago, she has performed everywhere from Disneyland to Disneyworld and has made it all the way to New York City.

After receiving her BA in Theatre & Film from The University of Denver, her musical theatre and dance background was opened up to more serious theatre.  Highlight roles included Anne Frank in the musical Yours, Anne, The Leading Player in Pippin, Rosencrantz in Rosencrantz & Guildenstern Are Dead and Morse in One Flea Spare.  Her final year, Lyndsay created a site specific movement piece called Lovelution that was inspired by immersive theatre she experienced studying abroad in London. After graduating, Lyndsay joined the professional company 7 Dancers in Denver and led the movement classes at the award winning Denver Center Theatre Academy.

These new experiences led Lyndsay to graduate school in NYC where she received her MFA in Acting from The New School for Drama. While there her skill set was expanded further into creating new works and devised theatre.  Her final year she was able to work on some amazing roles including Helena in Look Back in Anger, Christine in Miss Julie, and Harper in Angels in America.

Currently, she teaches kids dance classes at the Preparatory Center for Performing Arts at Brooklyn College and works with Punchdrunk Theatre Company as a staff member of Sleep No More.  Hoping to devise her own work, Lyndsay co-founded the MindShip Group, a new company collaborating with many talented NYC based artists.
